Carolyn June Bailey, age 86, of New Durham Road in Alton, died November 18, 2019.

Born May 22, 1933 in Rochester, a daughter of Delphin and Carrie (Tobey) Demeritt, she resided for years in Farmington and Milton and resided in Alton for over fifty years.

Carolyn had worked as a Stitcher at Globe Manufacturing Company in Pittsfield for 28 years.

A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Wolfeboro, Carolyn enjoyed reading and traveling to the mountains.  She was the mother of eleven children.

Survived by her 7 children: Paul E. Bailey, Jr., Deborah Smith, Phillip A. Bailey, David C. Bailey, Mark A. Bailey, Joel T. Bailey and Timothy J. Bailey, also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister Adele and 2 brothers: James and Delphin, also nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her children: Peter G. Bailey, Rebecca A. Bailey and twin sons: Daniel and David Bailey.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington.
