Carol Marie Morgan of Powder Mill Road in Alton, died February 6, 2018 at home.
Born May 19, 1942 in Salem Massachusetts, daughter of Arthur L. Dumas and Eva B. (LaRoche) Dumas. She has resided in Alton for many years, coming from Northern Massachusetts.
Professionally she had a long and generous nursing career as a nurse that included caring for the elderly then healing the injured as an operating room nurse, until her retirement from Lawrence General Hospital.
Carol loved to spend time with her pets, gardening, and practicing her faith by being a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
Members of her family include: Her life long partner who she married September 18, 1965 George A. Morgan of Alton, NH. Her two sons George A. Morgan of Derry, NH and Michael J. Morgan of Merrimack, NH. With two brothers and a sister, Fred Dumas of New Orleans, Paul Dumas of Peabody, MA and Edie Hazeltine of Salem, MA along with several nieces and nephews.
She will be missed.
Calling hours are Sunday from 1-4pm at the Peaslee's Alton Funeral Home 12 School Street, Alton, NH. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 12 at 11am at St. Katharine Drexel Parish 40 Hidden Springs Road, Alton, NH. Cremation care by Peaslee's Alton Funeral Home.
