Carol D. Kachoris, age 76, a longtime resident of Sanbornville, died May 27, 2015.
Born September 18, 1938 in Quincy, Massachusetts, the daughter of Elden G. and Doris E. (McKay) Richards, she lived in Georgia and Florida for some years, resided most of her life in Sanbornville, New Hampshire.
Carol was a Registered Nurse, having worked at Huggins Hospital, Carroll County Nursing Home and Citrus Memorial Home Health.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, camping, hiking, reading, sewing, arts and crafts, shopping, and going to yard sales.
Survived by her 4 children: Mark Kachoris, Robin and husband Dean Nason, Caren Kachoris, Misti and husband Adam Bell, her grandchildren: Michelle Kachoris-Romero, Mark T. Kachoris, John F. Nason, Jeremy M. Nason, Jacob E. Nason, Madison Bell, Taylor Bell and Lauren Bell, a great granddaughter: Linnea Kachoris, brothers: Douglas Richards and Donald Richards, also several very loved nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Bruce Richards and Allen Richards.
Calling hours are Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 2079 Wakefield Road in Sanbornville, NH. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 1pm at First Congregational Church of Wakefield, with Rev. Mary James, pastor, officiating. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Special Olympics.
