Carol J. Emerson, age 63, went home to be with our Lord, on Sunday, September 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief battle with cancer.

Born May 29, 1950 in West Stewartstown, NH, she was the daughter of Leland and Mae (Reynolds) Ellingwood.

Carol was employed at Globe Manufacturing in Pittsfield, NH.

She enjoyed crocheting and making doilies, making lots of hats and mittens for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved butterflies.

Carol was a member of the Milton Assembly of God.

She is survived by her children: Danny and wife Alana Ellingwood of East Wakefield, Tina and husband Ed Wiggin of Rochester and Jason Emerson of Farmington, 8 grandchildren: Maelyn, Katie, Shatayah, Nina, Zachary, Jason Jr., Rachel and Jocelyn, 5 great grandchildren, 4 sisters: Patricia Nye of Alfred, ME, Hazel Tilton of Nottingham, Rebecca Prosper of Middleton and Sarah Ellingwood of Colchester, VT, 2 brothers: Maynard Ellingwood of New Durham and Claude Ellingwood of Fairfax, VT, also many nieces and nephews, her best friend: Paul Huntress and her cat: Ashley.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 1:00pm at the Milton Assembly of God on Route 125 in Milton, NH with Pastor Alfred Weeden, officiating.
