IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carl William
Hall
July 13, 1950 – February 23, 2025
Carl William Hall, age 74, of Twin Mountain, NH, passed away on February 23, 2025, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Born on July 13, 1950, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Herbert Hall and Lois (Highlands) Hall. Carl was known for his spirited and adventurous nature, especially in his younger years. A proud graduate of the University of New Hampshire, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, though he always considered himself first and foremost a "tree man."
Prior to his retirement, Carl was the owner and operator of Arborcare Tree Service, a business he ran alongside his son, Cole. He cherished the time spent with his colleagues, and while retirement was a concept that often left him perplexed, he eventually found peace in his decision to plant an apple orchard, thinking it would provide a tranquil retreat.
Carl's early career included working on the Cog Railway, an experience that inspired his long-held dream of retiring in the north, near Mount Washington—a dream he was fortunate enough to fulfill.
In his personal life, Carl was deeply supportive of those around him. He was an avid hiker, and his love for his dog, simply named "Dog," was unwavering.
Carl is survived by his son, Cole Hall, and was predeceased by his parents.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
