Bruce H. Campbell, 85 of Milton, NH and Palmetto Florida passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024 after a brief illness. He was born in Lynn, MA on May 30, 1939, son of Walter and Irma Campbell.
Bruce joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1956 serving at Camp Lejeune and Quantico, Va. He returned to Massachusetts after serving his country and became a skilled welder. His work provided the opportunity to travel and work throughout the world with Chicago Bridge and Iron as a welding supervisor. He especially enjoyed working in South Africa, Ireland and Scotland while exploring those countries with his wife, Pauline. After retirement, Bruce enjoyed splitting time between Milton, NH and Palmetto Florida. He enjoyed walking, boating, riding motorcycles and spending time with his friends and family. In his later years Piney Point was home most of the year and he enjoyed numerous cruises, walking and chatting with his neighbors. He leaves behind many dear Piney Point friends, especially Marilyn Spica.
He is survived by his daughter Karen Anderson and her husband Laurance (Andy) of Milton, NH, son David Campbell of Revere, MA and step-daughter Colleen Vernon and her husband Mark of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is lovingly survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Pauline (Gillon); brother Gerald Campbell, and daughters Donna DiTomasso and Robin Bornstein.
Friends and family are invited to visit together on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 1:00-3:00 at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. Burial will be in the spring.
