Brenda Joyce (McLane) Garrity, age 58, of Worster Street in Farmington, died September 2, 2014, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born November 3, 1955 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of Edward H. and Theresa Y. (Therrien) McLane, she resided in Farmington since 2006, having previously resided in Ossipee and the Tri-City area.

Brenda was a former Weightlifter, recipient of a Body Building State Championship in 2010 for her age category. A homemaker, she enjoyed fishing and especially loved her children, grandchildren and her dogs.

Survived by her husband Bruce K. Garrity and 5 children: Christine and husband Kevin Cullinane, Ken and wife Cindy Bradford, Ed Bradford and fiancee Katie Lynn Ball, Bruce K. Garrity II, Jessica and husband Timothy Rhode, 16 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter Rileyann, 3 siblings: Richard Therrien, Carol Lambert and Michael McLane, also several cousins, nieces, nephews and 1 aunt. She was predeceased by her daughter: Brandy Beth Messier and a sister: June Lazotte.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday evening, September 5, 2014 from 6-8 pm with a service at 7:00pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH 03835. If desired, memorial donations may be made to her family to help defray the final expense.
