Blanche Annette Rundlett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at Mt. View Community in Ossipee, NH. She
was born on March 9, 1911, in Farmington, New Hampshire, to Romuald and Lea Roy. At 106,
she was the holder of the Boston Post Cane from that town.
She attended schools in Farmington and graduated from high school there in 1928.
Blanche worked in the office as a payroll clerk in several shoe shops for most of her working
life.
She was predeceased by her parents, brothers Charles Roy and Marcel Dalpe and her
devoted husband of 75 years, Rufus Rundlett.
Blanch is survived by her daughter Mary Morgan and husband Daniel, grandsons Karl
and Mark Morgan and his wife Silvana, granddaughters Lea Morgan and Erika LaPresto and
husband John, great-granddaughter Summer Morgan and great-grandson Avery LaPresto, one
niece, Priscilla LeBlanc and nephew Charles Rundlett and their families.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attended many of their athletic
games, gymnastics, and dance programs. She loved having them visit, but always asked "What
will I feed them?" It become a standing joke. She loved to dance and listen to music, especially
when Rufus played the violin or organ.
Blanche lived most of her life in Farmington, moving to Mt. View Community 10 years
ago. It is with deepest gratitude that her family would like to thank the staff at Mt. View for their
loving care over the years. The kisses, hugs and loving words given her by everyone there
made her days brighter and made her family know that she was respected and loved by so
many people. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the activities fund at Mt. View
Community, 93 Water Village Rd., Ossipee,NH 03864.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at 10 AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Farmington. Burial will be in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Peaslee Funeral Home.
