Billie Donna Bickford, age 74, of Caribbean Lane in Rochester, died September 5, 2018 at Maplewood Center in Amesbury, Massachusetts.

Born May 20, 1944 in Milton, NH, the daughter of William H. Warnecke, Jr. and Ruth (Dixon) Warnecke, she was raised in Milton, resided in Rochester where she raised her children, resided in Somersworth and back to Rochester since 1989.

Prior to her retirement, Billie was employed at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester for about 45 years, where she worked as a Coding Specialist.

She loved camping, one of her favorite places, Wolfville in Stow, Maine, loving the outdoors, fishing, she also enjoyed photography.

Billie was loved by her friends and family for quick wit and wry sense of humor. She enjoyed playing yahtzee, gin rummy, and cribbage with her children on their camping trips.

Widow of the late Richard A. Bickford, she is survived by her daughter: Karen J. Desmarais and her son: Robert R. Desmarais, Jr. and wife Jennifer and their children: Benjamin, Colin and Maya Desmarais. Also the cats: Zoe and grandcats: Zeke, Zebb and Zabu.

As per her wishes, there will be no services. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to: Harvest Hills Animal Shelter in Fryeburg, Maine.   Cremation care by Peaslee Funeral Home of Farmington, NH.
