Beverly Ann Tufts, aged 83, passed away on November 14, 2024, in Rochester, NH. Born on April 18, 1941, she grew up in West Lebanon, ME and later moved to Rochester, NH. Beverly was a beloved figure in her community, known for her loving and dedicated nature as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Beverly's life was marked by her commitment to her family and friends, and she cherished the time spent surrounded by her loved ones. She found great joy in doing anything that involved family and friends. She loved the beach, road trips to the casinos and wintering in Florida with her sister, niece and nephew. She took great pleasure tending to her property while riding her lawnmower during the warmer months. In her younger days, she could be found taking snowmobile trips around the state and attending dances at social clubs with her friends and family.
Throughout her career, Beverly was a dedicated employee at Colby Footwear and Thompson Center Arms, where she formed lasting relationships and made significant contributions.
Her family remembers her as the heart of their home. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Betty Chisholm and her husband, Fred; grandsons Derek Congram and Katie Alfrey, Brandon Congram, Cody Chisholm and his wife, Amy; great-grandchildren Summer Congram, Allie Congram, Jace Congram, Finnegan Chisholm, Annika Congram, Wyatt Chisholm, and Douglas Congram as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her longtime partner, Wallace (Dee) Gilbert; her parents, George and Inez (Eldridge) Rouleau; and her siblings, Marion Warnecke, Gladys (Tinker) Merrill, and Robert (Butch) Rouleau and George (Junior) Rouleau.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday November 21, 2024, at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, ME.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Beverly's memory, honoring her compassionate spirit and lifelong dedication to nurturing and supporting those around her.
