Betty J. Hartford, age 76, of Farmington, died November 26, 2020 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

Born August 4, 1944 in Rochester, a daughter of Frank and Ruth (Morse) Currier, she had lived in many different places, residing in Pittsfield for 9 years and the past 16 years in Farmington.

A loving homemaker and mother, Betty enjoyed gardening flowers, arts and crafts. She also enjoyed reading her Bible, praying for her family daily.

Survived by her husband Forest W. Hartford, Sr., 5 children: Robert Goings, Jr. and wife Janet of Dover-Foxcroft, ME, Patricia and husband David Sprague of Farmington, Wendy and husband Milton Locke of Pittsfield, Brian and wife Eileen Emery of Lebanon, ME and Pamela Willard of Portsmouth, 3 step children: Robin Hartford of Michigan, Forest W. Hartford, Jr. of Rochester and Carla Bickford of Manchester,  many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandson, a sister Phyllis Snedeker, also many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by 3 sisters: Barbara, Peggy, and Joan, brother Bud, grandson Joshua Willard and twin great grandchildren.
