Beatrice M. (Swinerton) Tibbetts passed away in the early morning of March 27, 2025, eight days after her 89th birthday at the Wentworth Douglas Hospital.  Born on March 19, 1936, in Wolfeboro, NH, Bea lived in Sanbornville for the last 56 years with her husband, David S. Tibbetts.

Bea had a huge heart and lit up every room with her great smile.  Lovingly called Queen Bea, she was the matriarch and the glue that held our immediate and extended family together. She was well loved by all who knew her.  She loved to buy gifts and send cards to everyone. Christmas was her favorite time of year.

When Bea and Dave married, she bravely took on the challenge of raising six young  children under the age of 11, known as the Bede Bunch. She was also mother to all our cousins who needed to get away from home, or just use the bathroom.

Bea loved to gamble and she loved to travel – to California with her sisters Gloria and Louise, and father, Dick; to Cancun with the Gelinases, and to Alaska, Utah, and Florida to visit relatives.

Bea is survived by her loving husband Dave, her children - daughter Barbara and husband Robert Bentley, daughter Cathy Carberry, son Pat Carberry and his wife Chrissy, son Andy Carberry, daughter Heidi Tibbetts, and daughter-in-law Pam Tibbetts, as well as 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by son Daniel Tibbetts, her sisters Gloria and Louise, her brother Richard, and her parents Laura & Dick.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Peaslee Funeral Home in Farmington. Her burial will be at a later date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, please take your money to the nearest casino and place a bet for Bea.
