Barry L. Clough, age 71, died July 16, 2014 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
He was born November 22, 1942 in Rochester, the son of Eli L. and Melva (Kehoe) Clough.
A Superintendent of Schools for many years, he held a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education from Plymouth State and a Master of Arts from Ball State.
He had owned the former Quoddy Moccasin in Farmington.
Barry had served as Principal at Barrington Elementary/Middle School for many years, Superintendent of SAU44, Principal at the American School of Kuwait, Assistant Head at Overseas School of Sri Lanka, Headmaster at Fukuoka International School of Japan and Headmaster of American School of Chennai India
He served as Superintendent of 8 school districts, including 13 schools, for 16 years.
Survived by his wife Thaworn (Sasorn) Clough and son Pattanapong Clough of Farmington, son and daughter in law: Thayne and Diane Clough of Canterbury, daughter and son in law: Heather and Matt Newland of Concord, grandchildren: Cawlin and Jared Clough of Canterbury, Peter and David Newland of Concord.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday August 10, 2014 from 2-5 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH, with a service at 3:00pm with Rev.
