Barry N. Brescia, age 58, of Jenkins Road in New Durham, passed away peacefully, at his home, after a sudden illness.
He was born on June 6, 1958 in Somerville MA, son of Robert R. and Ruby E. (Marshall) Brescia.
Barry worked for the City of Portsmouth, at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, for the last 29 years.
Harley's, camping, adventures and fixing things were among his passions.
Members of his family include his wife of 35 years: Sharon (Hughes) Brescia of New Durham, his son Shayne and wife Leah, expecting their first child, of Washington DC, a daughter Meegan and his grandson Nicholas both of New Durham, a sister Cheryl (Brescia) and husband Dennis Thompson of Rochester and a brother Robby Brescia of MA, also many extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to: A Safe Place "HAVEN", 20 International Drive, Suite 300, Portsmouth NH 03801.
