Obituary

Barbara A. Regan, 83, of Branson Road in Farmington, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, at Dover Rehabilitation Center.

Born on September 27, 1942, in Somerville, Massachusetts, Barbara was the daughter of Edward McFadden and Lois McFadden. She graduated from Somerville High School, where she proudly served as captain of the cheerleading squad, on the Sodailty Team, and Glee Club.

Barbara worked many jobs throughout her life, but she most enjoyed being a secretary working with children. Her most beloved career, however, was as a bus driver for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, where she formed lasting memories and friendships. She was known for her strong work ethic, her quick wit, and her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Barbara found joy in traveling, knitting, spending time with her family, completing crossword puzzles, and collecting nutcrackers. Her greatest pride was her family, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Boutin and her longtime companion, Peter Corcoran, of Salem, Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Ashley Zizelman and her spouse Chad Zizelman; Steven Nelson and his spouse Caitlynne Nelson; Kristie Mahoney; Thomas Mahoney; Alec Vittum; Shauna Scyzgial; and Peter Corcoran Jr.; and her great-grandchildren, Kyle Hamel Jr.; Elena Trafton; Power Zizelman; Sims Zizelman; Aleeyah Smith.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Lois McFadden; her brother, Jackie McFadden; and her daughter, Jeannie Mahoney.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Barbara’s name in honor of her brother Jackie to the Jimmy Fund for Childhood Cancer, 10 Brookline Place West, 5th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226, (800) 525-4669, or online at https://danafarber.jimmyfund.org/site
