Barbara F. Keevan, age 77, of Brackett Road in New Durham, passed away at home, on Tuesday, January 1, 2013
Born in Newburyport, MA on June 14, 1935, the daughter of Walter S. and Dorothy V. (Remick) Staples, she was a graduate of Amesbury MA High School, Class of 1954. She previously resided in Salisbury, MA, South Berwick, Maine and resided in New Durham, NH for the past 4 years.
A homemaker, she enjoyed knitting, watching television, she also had enjoyed gardening, traveling and camping.
She is survived by 4 sons: Pat and wife Debbie of Moscow, Maine, Michael and wife Eveline Keevan of New Durham, Jim Keevan of South Berwick, Maine, Tim and wife Ruth Keevan of St. Albans, Vermont, 1 daughter: Ann Keevan of South Berwick, Maine, 3 grandchildren: Angela Bouffard and Mary Wright both of Maine and Kenny Wright of NH, a sister Charlotte and husband Edmund Patterson of Middleton, NH, a cousin: Martha Calderwood of Salisbury, MA, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leroy Keevan and their son John Keevan.
As per her request, there are no services planned. Interment will be later at St. Michael's Cemetery in Rollinsford, NH. Cremation arrangements by Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH, to express condolences, please visit: www.peasleefuneralhome.com
