Audrey F. Thompson, age 89, of Sanbornville, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2013.

Born April 8, 1924 in Lynn, MA, the daughter of Jon F. and Hannah (Nelson) Connaughton, she was raised there and resided in Sanbornville, NH since 1947.

She and her husband had owned and operated Russell's Market in Sanbornville, NH for years.

Audrey was an active member of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Sanbornville. She had been a volunteer at the Wakefield Food Pantry and together with her husband had participated with the Good Shepherd Program. She loved listening to Irish music and most especially loved her family.

Widow of the late Russell C. Thompson, who died in 2004, she is survived by their 4 children: Russell C. Thompson, Jr. and wife Cindy, Cathy A. Kinville, Barry J. Thompson and wife Pam and Rebecca A. Rouleau, 10 grandchildren: Christopher Kinville, Amy Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Alyssa McCool, Leah Thompson, Wetherley Rouleau, Mark Thompson, Dack Rouleau, Fallon Rouleau and Ian Rouleau, 7 great grandchildren, also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers: Harry and Robert Connaughton.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church on High Street in Sanbornville, NH, with Rev. Susan Poulin, pastor, as celebrant. Urn interment will follow at Lovell Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one's choice.
