Arthur Morse died on June 28, 2011 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was the son of the late Albert and Evelyn Morse. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was active in the community and held membership with many local organizations such as the Masons, Elks, and VFW.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Patricia, sister, Mary Jane Morse-Greenwood, Albert D., Jr., children, Arthur, Jr., Alan, Karl, Margie, Nancy, Linda, Lynette, Sally, Gail, Mary Jane, three stepchildren, Al, Michael, and Patti, 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Arlene.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 2, at 11 a.m. at Peaslee Funeral Home, 12 School St., Alton, NH, immediately followed by a service by the Royal Order of Elks. A graveside U.S. Military Flag Ceremony will be held on Tuesday, July 5, at 1 p.m. at New Riverside Cemetery, Route 28, Alton, NH.
