Celebrating the life of Arlene Ruth Leyare of Sanbornville NH. Arlene was born February 25, 1951 in Springfield, MA and went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 17, 2025 in Wolfeboro nh after a long battle with illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents Sidney and Virginia Silcocks, and her brother Donald Silcocks. She is survived by her daughters Gail Leyare, Julie DiMinico and her husband Joe DiMinico, and her 5 grandchildren; Kayla "Zach" Leyare, Jacob DiMinico, Jenea DiMinico, James DiMinico, Jason DiMinico, sister-in-law Jane Silcocks, and her nephews David Silcocks and Steven Silcocks.
Arlene was an artist. Those who knew her would have been blessed by her painting, drawing, storytelling, decorating wedding cakes, personal dolls and so much more. She loved to make someone smile through her ability to bring life into her creations.
Arlene lived half of her life in Massachusetts and the other half in New Hampshire. She loved the Big E, hiking, Prince Edward Island, the Madison Boulder, ogunquit Maine and all the beautiful covered bridges in New England. These excursions fueled her creative inspirations.
Arlene was everyone's friend. Those who knew her would say "she was my favorite person." No matter where she went the left a lasting imprint on those whose paths she crossed.
The family would welcome you to join them at Stone Hedge Cemetery 1657 Lovell Lake Rd. Route 109 in Sanbornville (approx. 3 miles from the Poor People's Pub.) at 10:30 am on Tuesday, July 22 for a graveside service. Her celebration of life, open reception, will be at The Garvin Room, 3 High Street, Suite C in Sanbornville, NH from 12-4 Saturday July 26, Please feel free to come and go as needed.
