With his family by his side, Anthony Rapoza, age 65, of Sanbornville, NH, passed away peacefully after an eight year battle with cancer at Wentworth Douglass Hospital on February 12, 2024.

He was born on November 29, 1958 in Fall River, Massachusetts. One of his proudest achievements in high school was coming in 1st place in the Massachusetts State Plymouth Troubleshooting Contest. He was the son of Ernest Rapoza and stepson of Christine Rapoza and son of the late Lee (Mendonca) Rapoza. He was the owner of Anthony's RV Service and Auto Repair in Sanbornville and spent many happy and/or infuriating hours in his garage. He enjoyed working on and drag racing his Chevy lI. Anthony always had a love of aviation and took flying lessons. He would entertain others with his love of singing and playing the trumpet. He gave the BEST hugs! He cherished his family and had a great sense of humor. He had an amazing ability to recall any joke he had ever heard.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 103 years, Lynn (Holland) Rapoza, whom he called Angel; his children, Mark Rapoza and his wife Christina Rapoza of New Durham, NH; Neil Rapoza and his wife Suzanne Rapoza of Dover, NH; and Gregg Rapoza and his wife Steffanie Graff-Rapoza of New Market, MD; and was Racin' Grandpa to his grandchildren, Andrew, Brayden, Lily, Kylie, and Katherine Rapoza. He was predeceased by his late brothers Ernest and James Rapoza. He is survived by his sisters Patricia Dubois, Susan Brilhante, Kathleen Goulet, Mary-Elizabeth Perry, and his brother Tim Rapoza.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at St. Anthony's Church hall from 11am - 2pm.

Anthony gave in death as he gave in life; he was an organ donor.
