Anthony P. Izzo, age 73, of Estates Road in Middleton, NH, died March 12, 2012 at home, with his family.
Born January 16, 1939 in Boston, MA, the son of Paul and Mary (Giardullo) Izzo, he resided in East Boston, MA for many years and resided in Middleton, NH for the past four years.
Prior to retirement, he was employed as a Maintenance Foreman at Children's Hospital in Boston, MA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Mary F. (LaMonica) Izzo of Middleton, NH and their 3 children: Sheryl Izzo of No. Andover, MA, Paul A. Izzo of Middleton, NH, Jean Izzo Dimeo and husband Dennis Dimeo of Middleton, NH, 4 grandchildren: Anthony, Christopher and Tiana Dimeo of Middleton, NH and Brittney Lee Weber of Marathon, FL, also 3 great grandchildren: Isaiah and Madeline Weber and Nathan James Dickie, 5 siblings: Marie Capone, Paul "Junior" Izzo, Ann Decosta, Rita Rizzo and Joseph Izzo, also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and his beloved pet "Lily Rose". He was predeceased by 3 siblings: Jean Nicoletti, Ida Villano and Nicholas Izzo.
Calling hours are Friday from 4-8 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10:00 am at St. Peter Church, 88 Central Street, Farmington, NH with Fr. Daniel J. Sinibaldi, pastor, as celebrant.
