Annie L. Martell, age 69, of the Newton Center in Sanford, Maine, died there, April 9, 2012.
Born December 20, 1942 in Limerick, the daughter of Oliver and Fannie (Danforth) Martell, she resided in Acton for most of her life, lived at The Lodges in Springvale for about ten years and resided the past year at the Newton Center in Sanford.
Annie had attended Baxter School for the Deaf in Portland, Maine. She loved playing Bingo at The Lodges and all the activities at the Newton Center.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Barbara Edwards of Lee, NH and Mary Edwards of Madison, NH, a brother: Lester Martell of Lebanon, Maine, also many Nieces and Nephews and her family at the Newton Center. She was predeceased by her son Tommy Martell.
There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a Graveside Service on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 11:00 am at Lovell Lake Cemetery in Sanbornville, NH with Pastor Brad Trafton, officiating.
