Anne E. "Nancy" Comeau, age 83, of Hamwoods Road in Alton, died May 29, 2013 at Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia.



Born September 28, 1929 in Peabody, MA, the daughter of Arthur and Anne (Kennealy) Marrs, she resided in Alton, NH since 2008, having previously resided at Wells Beach, Maine, Naples, Florida and Dalton, Massachusetts.



A school teacher, she was retired with the Massachusetts State Teachers Association, having worked at the Peabody School System and at the Dalton Middle School.



Nancy enjoyed reading, doing cross word puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.



She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of almost 60 years: Frank J. Comeau, son: Francis J. "Frank" and wife Karen Comeau, 3 daughters: Anne and husband Peter Dunigan, Mary and husband Timothy Dougherty, Elizabeth Comeau and husband Dr. James Belanger, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother William Marrs, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister: Mary O'Hara and a brother: Richard Marrs.



A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM. St. Mary's Church, 236 Eldridge Road, Wells, ME 04090
