Ann Garside Perkins, age 83, of Kennebunkport ME, formerly of Harvard, MA passed away on Saturday October 12 ^th , 2019 in front of the fire at her Lake Winnipesaukee cottage surrounded by her loving family.

Born in West Boylston, MA, the daughter of Mildred and Maurice Garside, Ann graduated from UNH in 1957 with a B.A. in Music Education and alongside her husband was very active in the Alumni Association and Theta U Sorority.

Ann loved caring for her family, cooking, cross country skiing and anything purple.  Singing in the Harvard Pro Musica with her husband, directing the children's and adult choirs at her local church and playing/teaching the piano were some of her most treasured activities.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Lee Sage Perkins, her three children Jeffrey G. Perkins of West Boylston, MA, Steven L. Perkins and his wife Mary of Simsbury CT and Debra P. Bonollo and her husband Brian of Shrewsbury MA; She leaves 9 grandchildren and growing numbers of great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Our family is so grateful to the exceptional care given by Kennebunkport Town Nurses and the caregivers from Hospice.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Southern Maine ( www.hospiceofsouthernmaine.org ) which was so instrumental in her care at the end of her days.

A memorial service celebrating Ann's life is scheduled at 1:00pm on Sunday, October 27 ^th at the Congregational Church of Harvard, 5 Still River Road, Harvard, MA.
