Alphonzo L. Kimball, age 97, of Ridge Road in Middleton, died October 2, 2012 at Wolfeboro Bay Care.
Born August 8, 1915 in Alfred, Maine, son of Alphonzo E. and Ida Kimball, he resided in Middleton, NH for most of his life.
A United States Army Veteran of World War II, he served in Japan, Germany and Italy and was a member of Burroughs Drew Post of the V.F.W. in Union.
He was employed as a shoe shop worker at local shoe factories and also had worked at Spaulding Fiber.
He had enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling at camp in Errol.
Survived by his wife of 67 years: Priscilla A. (Tufts) Kimball, their son: David L. and wife Barbara Kimball, a grandson: Kimie David Kimball, 3 great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews, including nephew: Lester and wife Mary Kimball.
There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to a Graveside Service on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington with Rev. Cliff McMullen, officiating.
