Alice Virginia Martin, age 88, of Governor's Road in Milton, died January 2, 2012 at Leominster Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster, MA.
Born September 29, 1924 in East Boston, MA, the daughter of Edwin A. and Florence (Morris) Swan, she had previously resided in Wilmington, MA for 25 years and had resided in Milton, NH for many years.
Alice was a homemaker, in earlier years, she was employed as a stitcher for 30 years at Regalia in Boston, MA.
Widow of the late Jesse Martin, who died in 1990, she is survived by their son Dennis J. and his wife Flora Martin of Townsend, MA, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, she also had many friends. She was predeceased by a son: Robert J. Martin, also several brothers and sisters.
Family and friends are welcome to a Funeral Service on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street, Farmington, NH with Pastor Bob Walsh, of the Nute Ridge Bible Chapel, officiating. The calling hour is prior to the service from 1-2pm. Interment will be in the spring at Hayes Cemetery in Milton.
