Alfreda May Young, age 87, died June 28, 2016 at Rochester Manor.
Born May 6, 1929 in Rochester, a daughter of Albert M. and Iona B. (Knight) Smith, she attended school in Milton and was a longtime resident of Rochester.
A loving homemaker and mother, she was a member of the Church of God in Rochester.
Alfreda liked crafts, singing Karaoke and she loved the Rochester Fair, having worked there.
Mom loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with them.
Widow of the late Ivory H. Young, she is survived by 3 daughters: Leona Smith, Nancy and husband Marty Marcinkoski, Darlene and husband Edmund Seale, 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 daughters: Lena Smith and Goldie Arno and her 12 siblings.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 5, 2016 at 11am at Peaslee Funeral Home, 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH with a calling hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will be private at Kimball Cemetery in Rochester.
