Obituary

Alexander E. DaRosa, 33, of Milton, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly on June 23, 2026 in an accident at home. Born on August 14, 1992, in Gloucester, Massachusetts to Norberto and Gudrun DaRosa. Alexander lived a life filled with passion, creativity, and love.

A self-proclaimed “Jack-of-all-trades, master of none.” Alex had a remarkable talent for fixing, dismantling, and creating anything he set his mind to. His curiosity and determination drove him to acquire new skills constantly. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on machinery, and new adventures. Often sharing these adventures with his son Jasper and his partner Leandra by his side along with their beloved dogs, Pearl and Rosie; and their cat Ruby. He enjoyed music, dancing, being goofy, playing his bass guitar, storytelling, dreaming up new projects and helping others.

Alex's sense of humor was infectious, and he had an extraordinary ability to brighten any room with his unforgettable grin and well-timed jokes.

He is survived by his beloved 11-year-old son, Jasper M. DaRosa, who was the light of his life and his greatest pride.

Above every role he held in life, being a father was the most important and valuable role he took on. Everything Alex did was driven by his love for his son. He worked tirelessly to provide for him, protect him, and give him every opportunity possible. Those who knew him agree there was no greater example of his character than the father he was. His fierce love, unwavering devotion, and endless pride in Jasper will remain his greatest legacy.

Alexander also leaves behind his devoted partner of six years, Leandra M. Desio; his loving mother, Gudrun (Beine) DaRosa; his older sister, Yvonne M. DaRosa; and his cherished grandmother, Gabriella DaRosa. He will be deeply missed by his aunts and uncles— Maria Hile, Noemia DaRosa, Tony DaRosa, and Frank DaRosa —as well as many beloved cousins and friends who he loved so very much.

Alexander was predeceased by his father Norberto S. DaRosa; his grandfather Eduino L. DaRosa; his cousin Gina M. Silveira; his grandmother Ursula Beine; and his step-grandfather Thomas Carlson.

Alex leaves behind an immeasurable emptiness in the lives of those who loved him, but also a legacy of kindness, generosity, resilience, laughter, and unconditional love. He showed those around him what it meant to keep going, to help others without expecting anything in return, and to love fiercely. Though his time with us was far too short, the lives he touched are forever better because he was part of them.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

May Alexander E. DaRosa’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and inspire them to live with the same selflessness, love, and joy that defined his remarkable life.
