Albert Russell Hynes, age 96, of Wakefield, New Hampshire, passed away quietly on August 24, 2021, while in the care of Hospice.

Al worked as a Tool and Dye Machinist at General Electric in Saugus, Massachusetts, for many years and was a "Jack of all trades". He knew his way around machinery of any kind, and built many homes by hand, including the home he lived in with his wife, Joan Brown Hynes, who survives him. He was predeceased by his son, Russell Hynes, and is survived by his daughter Linda Parker of Rhode Island, and his stepson, Tim Healy of Wakefield, NH, as well as grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Al was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sanbornville, NH. He was a true friend to all he met, and loved to play cards, put together jigsaw puzzles, and work in his carpentry shop. Al never knew a stranger, and was always quick with a smile or a laugh.

The graveside service of remembrance for Al will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 1st, at St. Anthony Cemetery in Sanbornville, NH.
