Obituary

CWO3 Albert Allen Bueler, USCG known to many as "GUNNER" of Whitebirch Lane, Farmington, New Hampshire died October 25, 2014.

He was born July 31, 1949 in Brookline, Massachusetts, and the son of Jack and Josephine (Startz) Bueler. He travelled the world while in the service to include Vietnam, the Philippines, the most of Asia, the whole of Europe, and the entire of the Middle East. It was in Dubai, United Arab Emirates where he resided the longest and was there during the Gulf War and his last assignment was in Africa. He received multiple awards, medals, and honors, he served his country well. A great person, a gentleman, thoughtful, and caring to those in need. He sponsored a girl from the Philippines from a very young age whom he was very proud of and called her his daughter; she made it to graduate from College with a Bachelor's degree. He worked at Farmington School District and as a Helper at an auto dealership in Rochester and attended school after retirement.

He is survived by his wife Marie Bueler and stepsons Rhys and Reginald Spilsbury.

A member of the Disabled American Veterans, a Lifetime Member of the American Legion, a former Legion Riders member, and current member of the Club Victoire in Rochester, NH. He enjoyed and listened to his oldies music collections if he was not watching cooking shows or the news. He loved guns and fixed them in no time. He could read a book from cover to cover in one seating and could write the most impressive letter. He refused to give up smoking and enjoyed socializing with his friends. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and cooking for people and was very good at baking. He liked to dress up and look good and he loved online shopping.

He is also survived by Brothers Barry, Jack and Jimmy, Sister Barbara Grazioso, nephews and nieces.

He will be greatly missed by those who truly loved him; those who really knew him; and his true friends.

A gathering will be held at a later date to be announced. He will be remembered at mass on Sunday November 2, 2014 at 9:15 am at St. Peter church in Farmington. A military service will be arranged.
