Marlene J. Moulton, age 80, of Orchard Circle in Farmington, died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, after a short illness.

Born October 8, 1931 and raised in Wolfeboro, the daughter of Stanley and Adeline (Goldsmith) Glidden, she was predeceased by her parents at age five and raised by her older sister Irene Glidden, with help from all the other siblings.

Marlene resided in Farmington for many years, still visiting Wolfeboro and her lifelong friend Punkie. She also loved hanging out with her friend Vivian, often visiting with Vivian’s family in Kennebunkport, Maine.

She enjoyed reading and walking, loved Hampton Beach, having lived there for several years with her son David.

Widow of the late Theodore F. Moulton, she is survived by their three sons: David Moulton and Ted Moulton, both of Hampton and Mark Moulton of New Durham, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, also many nieces and nephews, as she was the last of eleven siblings.

A private graveside service was held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Farmington. If desired, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the New Hampshire Humane Society.
